Step 1 – GRP Rafters
As we previously mentioned, the LEKA warm roof is fitted with glass reinforced plastic rafters. These are positioned onto your new or existing conservatory as the first step. They are fully weatherproofed and are able to withstand even the harshest of climates.
Step 2 – Internal LEKA Boards
The next step is to add the internal LEKA sheets. These are placed underneath the GRP rafters and provide 100% waterproofing and exceptional thermal efficiency with U-values as low as 0.15.
Step 3 – Celotex Insulation
Once the LEKA sheets are installed it’s time to add in the insulated Celotex sheets. They are added in with a 15mm gap from the internal sheets. The Celotex insulation will provide further thermal protection and keep your conservatory living space at an optimal temperature all year long.
Step 4 – Outer Sheets
The next step is to add the outer sheets onto the structure. The strong, load bearing and insulated sheets ensure less roofing bars are needed and thermal efficiency is at the highest of standards. These specific outer sheets offer a better structural alternative to plywood, and offer a lightweight design that is 100% waterproof.
Step 5 – The Tiling
Last but not least, the tiling is then added onto the structure. After the high grade breathable membrane is fitted, a premium tile of your choice (slate or metal tile system) is positioned on top.
