Epwin Windows Systems ensures that the windows they produce are responsibly sourced and their manufacturing process is environmentally accredited. They also have a zero-to-landfill promise and an in-house recycling program and facilities. Epwin Window Systems also protects its products in steel stillages and supplies them using its clean, Euro 6-compliant HGV fleet of lorries, ensuring they are not adding any further unnecessary emissions to the environment during delivery.
By partnering with Epwin Windows Systems, we can confidently say that we work on ensuring our windows are responsibly sourced. Epwin Windows Systems supply chain is accredited and certified by BES6001 regulations, allowing them to prove that the windows they offer are supplied responsibly from manufacturer to installer. Epwin Windows is also the first UK supplier house that has received the VinylPlus product label, making it easier for their products to be recognised by installers and homeowners as sustainable and high quality uPVC products. PolyPure has also recently been acquired by Epwin Windows Systems, allowing for Epwin Windows Systems to close the recycling loop for uPVC products, so they can now confidently state that windows and door frames are entirely sustainable throughout their lifespan, from manufacturer to recycle. The pvc-u used in windows and doors which have been removed at the end of their lifespan are then broken down and recycled into further pvc-u products created by PolyPure, ensuring Epwin Windows Systems can complete their recycling process and continue to achieve their zero to landfill promise.
Here at Carera Windows, we are aware that the home improvement industry puts a high level of strain on the waste systems we have in place. That is why Epwin Windows Systems recycles all of their wasted uPVC into a recyclable composite material, which is then used to create their uPVC windows. These uPVC windows fitted with recyclable composite materials provide excellent thermal and energy efficiency, are sustainable, and can also be paired with various hardware options as usual.
Epwin Windows Systems also boasts a Zero to Landfill policy, whereby all of their waste is segregated at the source so it can be responsibly recycled. This ensures that no additional waste is being added to landfills across the UK, therefore having a positive impact on our environment.
